Andreas Rittmeyer

Andreas Rittmeyer
September 11

Adreas Rittmeyer was born in Zurich, Switzerland. He received his BA from the University of Rochester in 1964 and his MBA from U of R in 1973. Rittmeyer worked for the Eastman Kodak Company for 25 years and retired to do what he loved best.

Now he is a successful artist, exhibiting throughout New York state and around the country. His work ranges from rough, unfinished steel and found objects welded together in a seemingly random fashion, to highly polished and silvered metal pieces which evoke a different feeling entirely. His works often have the effect of being larger than they really are because of the medium that he chooses and his strong use of space and design.
