Born in Cincinnati, Ohio, Thomas Corwin Lindsay was a well known painter of landscapes. In the 1860’s, he studied in Dusseldorf, Germany, but lived most of his years in Ohio. He was a founding member of the Cincinatti Art Club.

Exhibited: Cincinnati Industrial Exposition 1870-73; Pogue’s,1875; Art Institute of Chicago, 1896.

In the Collection: Cincinatti Art Museum; Springfield Museum of Art.
