Born March 28, 1871 in Rock Port, Missouri. Visited Cape Ann beginning 1900, lived in East Gloucester, MA from 1922.

Studied: Art Academy, Kansas City; Art Institute of Chicago; Paris. Exhibited with prizes: Salmagundi Club; Allied Artists of America; Connecticut Academy of Fine Arts; National Arts Club; Ogunquit Art Center; Boston Art Club.

Member: Associate of National Academy; Salmagundi Cub; American Art Assoc of Paris; National Arts Club; Palette and Chisel Club, Chicago; Allied Artists of America; North Shore Arts Assoc.

In the collection of: Reading, PA Museum of Fine Arts; Herron Art Institute, Indianapolis.

Died Jan 10, 1938.
